I’m a So. Cal. native and family man with a genuine love for sports, fitness, and seeing others succeed. Growing up playing soccer and football I knew at an early age that I wanted to work with athletes one day.
Today, I have over 20 years of experience working with athletes in many different capacities including sports rehabilitation, strength training, speed and agility training, and personal fitness training.
My exposure to research-based coaching systems and methods that focus on plyometrics, acceleration, agility, and 1st step-quickness, has helped countless athletes prepare to play at the next level whether it be high school, college, or professionally.
I’ve worked with several high school programs, including football, soccer and baseball, as well as individual athletes who have gone on to win titles and receive scholarships to college athletics programs from schools such as University of Washington, UCLA, Cal, Northwestern, and University of Oregon to name a few, where they continued to excel at their sport. Additionally, I have helped prepare several college athletes for the NFL combines and worked with and helped condition the LAPD and Sheriff's BAKER TO VEGAS TEAMS (B2V).
I also have extensive experience in outpatient clinical physical therapy and I'm a certified funtional strength coach who works with a wide variety of individuals in a personal trainer capacity (including moms-to-be, dads, seniors, those recovering from surgery, etc) whio are looking to gain control of their health and well-being.
Most notably and closest to my heart, however, was training both of my daughters in their respective sports over the years. The countless hours I spent training and working alongside my oldest daughter paid off when she and her team went on to win the 2019 NCAA II National Championship in volleyball and was awarded the coveted National NCAA II Player of the Year in 2019. At the same time, I helped my youngest daughter with core-strengthening and injury-prevention methods to better prepare her for competitive dance at the college level where she is currently thriving.
In my spare time, I enjoy exercising outdoors, surfing and spending time with my wife and two daughters.
I truly believe that every athlete can improve with proper coaching and training and I’m honored to have the opportunity to help athletes achieve their sports performance goals.
